Monte E. Norwood, Senior Pastor
A second-generation minister,
Pastor Norwood is a native of Atlanta, Georgia,
and the son of Bishop Matthew and Lady Miriam Norwood.
Literally born into the parish, the second of five
children, Pastor Norwood inherited his parents’ love
for music and pursued musical excellence with brass
and percussion instruments. As a teenager at Bible
Way Church (his home church), Pastor Norwood participated
with the youth ministries, the music ministries,
